PADI Scuba Diver This course is the first step in the PADI courses progress track and it entitles the diver with an international qualification certificate allowing dives to a depth of 12 meters accompanied by an instructor. Admission Requirements: • Ages: 12 and up. • Signing a health certificate. Course Structure: • Theoretical lessons combined with practice dives in the club's private diver pool and dives in the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. Other Info: • Course Length: Three days. You can supplement two additional days to qualify with first star (Open Water) at any time. • The course includes a Hebrew language trainee set: textbook, dive chart, international diving certificate and a dive log-book. • Price: 780 NIS. PADI Open Water Diver (1 Star) This is the world's most popular scuba diving course and it entitles the diver with an international diving certification that allows diving with an instructor to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Admission Requirements: • Ages: 12 and up. • Signing a health certificate. Course Structure: • Theory lessons and briefings combined with practice dives in the Club's private diver pool and open sea dives in the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (2 Star) This is an advanced level course, which entitles the diver with an international diving certification that allows diving with an instructor to a depth of 30 meters. Admission Requirements: • Ages: 12 and up. • Signing a health certificate. • Diving during the preceding 6 months is required. In case no dive was conducted during the preceding 6 month, the trainee can complete a refresh dive at the club. • Valid diving insurance policy. • 1 Star qualification. Course Structure: • During the course we shall conduct sea dives focused on diverse and interesting subjects such as: underwater navigation, deep diving, marine ecosystem and more. PADI Open Water Diver + Advanced This course combines the contents of the two courses: '1 Star' and '2 Star' and provides a PADI's 'Advanced Diver' certification that allows diving to a depth of 12 meters. The course also entitles an annual membership benefit for the Isrotel Manta’s Sun Club. Admission Requirements: • Ages: 12 and up. • Signing a health certificate. Course Structure: • During the course we shall conduct sea dives focused on diverse and interesting subjects such as: underwater navigation, deep diving, marine ecosystem and more. • This course combines theoretical lessons with practice dives in the Club's private diver pool and open sea dives in the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. PADI Open Water Diver divided course In this course, the theoretical lessons and the swimming pool sections take place in Tel Aviv/ Haifa/ Jerusalem (on demand) and the final three days take place in Eilat. The course entitles the diver with an international diving certification that allows diving with an instructor to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Admission Requirements: • Ages: 12 and up. • Signing a health certificate. Course Structure: • The course combines theoretical lessons with practice dives in the Club's private diver pool and open sea dives in the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. Emergency First Response Course This is an eight-hour program that qualifies the trainees to provide first aid in life-threatening situations and to provide secondary care in non life-threatening medical situations to minimize the length of the recovery and recuperation period. Trainees who comply successfully with the course's requirements and tests receive an international qualification certification, issued by the EFR organization. The knowledge gained in the course should be refreshed once every two years or often if needed.
EFR organization The Emergency First Response organization was established in 2004 with an innovative approach to CPR. This approach includes conducting a short program that emphasizes practical training over theoretical knowledge overload. The program is intended for the general population and particularly for persons over 18 years old. The program has no admission conditions. The program is approved and acknowledged by the Diving Authority of the state of Israel and is suitable for the general population. The Course Objectives: • To provide the participant a positive and learning-friendly environment that will alleviate any fears, anxieties or insecurities related to success in the course. • To enhance the number of people who can provide EFR and CPR in a given locale (work, school environments etc.). • To provide a uniform, simple and easy program combining both CPR and EFR subjects in an easy to memorize manner. • To increase the practical training time and decrease the theoretical lectures time and limit it to essential knowledge. • To provide a training program that complies with the ILCOR 2000 (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) requirements. ILCOR is an international association that unifies the required knowledge involved in the CPR programs. Course Structure: The course has three parts: • Theoretical knowledge development – Instructor's lecture • Practical skills acquirement and development - training with and practice of basic operations. • Practice with real-life simulating scenarios. PADI Rescue Diver Course The rescue course is a most important step in acquiring knowledge and experience for your future sports diving life and it is a prerequisite skill if you consider proceeding to the Master SCUBA Diver, Divemaster and Technical Diver levels. Admission Requirements: • Advanced Open Water Diver (2 star). • PADI EFR qualification. • Minimum age of 15. Course Structure: • The Rescue Course includes 3 theoretical lessons and training with 12 emergency situations during three diving days. Other Info: • Course Length: three days dedicated to learning how to treat divers in distress and emergencies. • Price: 850 NIS (PADI's certification for additional 120 NIS).
